In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House. 

Following this, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Provincial Cathedral Memorial Service for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney.

In the afternoon, with Her Excellency departing the State, the Honourable Andrew Bell, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, assumed Administration of the Government.
