In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr Kiya Masahiko, Consul-General, and Ms Tanaka Noriko, Consul, Consulate-General of Japan, Justice Miyazaki Yuko, and Judge Sakaniwa Masayuki, Director for International Relations, Supreme Court of Japan.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the launch of the 2021 Centenary of The Rotary Club of Sydney. During the reception the Governor was inducted as an honorary member of the club.
