In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, attended a NAIDOC Week Celebration - Special Smoking Ceremony and Performance by the Koomurri Aboriginal Dance group, in the Yurong Precinct, of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Afterwards, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, Her Excellency attended the NSW Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in Martin Place and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Janette Davie, Chair and Ms Clare Pearson, CEO, of Little Wings, at Government House.

Subsequently, Her Excellency toured The Judge’s House, hosted by Charles Curran AC, in Kent Street, Sydney.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor received Rear Admiral Jonathan Mead AO, RAN, Commander Australian Fleet, for a farewell call at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency, as Patron of Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW, attended Woolli Wolves Boxing and met with members of the Girl’s Boxing Squad, at the City of Sydney PCYC, Woolloomooloo. For further information visit: pcycnsw.org.au
