In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, delivered welcome remarks at the Towards a Sustainable Ocean Economy Symposium, hosted by the Royal Norwegian Embassy, at the National Maritime Museum.

In the afternoon, the Governor attended a luncheon in Honour of Women involved in the Duty of Remembrance, hosted by the French Consul-General, at the French Consular Residence, in Bellevue Hill.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency received Professor Paul Wellings CBE, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Wollongong.
