In the evening, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, presented awards at Azeemat Masr - Honouring Australian Egyptian Women of Outstanding Accomplishment, at the Australian Museum, Darlinghurst.

Later in the evening, on the return of the Governor-General to Australia, Her Excellency reassumed the Administration of the Government of New South Wales.
