In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended a breakfast meeting with Orange City Councillors and Executives.

Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple visited Wangarang Industries, a not-for-profit Australian Disability Enterprise, in Orange.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Nashdale Public School and, as joint Patrons of Life Education NSW, viewed a Life Education mobile learning centre session. For further information visit: lifeed.org.au

In the afternoon, the Vice-Regal couple visited the NSW Department of Primary Industries Orange Agricultural Institute, the Aboriginal Medical Service, and the Orange campus of Charles Sturt University, where they toured the Medicine Building and attended a reception with local educators, students and stakeholders to mark Education Week.

In the morning, The Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, as deputised by Her Excellency the Governor, presided at the Swearing-In Ceremony of The Honourable Prudence Ann Car MP as Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education, and The Honourable Yasmin Maree Catley MP, as Minister for the Hunter.
