In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with the Eugowra Flood Recovery Committee and inspected recovery activities in a number of locations including the Eugowra Medical Centre and the Eugowra Community Children’s Centre. Afterwards, they visited the temporary housing pod, hosted by the NSW Reconstruction Authority.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Age of Fishes Museum, and the Canowindra Historical Society and Museum.

In the afternoon, as Patron, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, attended an afternoon tea with Country Women’s Association members from across the Central West at the Canowindra Country Women’s Association Hall. For further information, visit: cwaofnsw.org.au

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Community Afternoon Tea hosted by Blayney Shire Council, at the Golden Memories Millthorpe Museum.

In the evening, the Vice-Regal couple, attended the Millthorpe Fire Fair.
