In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron, and Mr Dennis Wilson, toured the Bermagui and District Country Women’s Association (CWA) Seniors Housing Project and met members of local CWA NSW branches, at the Bermagui CWA Cottage, in Bermagui. Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured facilities and oyster leases at Australia’s Oyster Coast, in Bermagui, and visited Tilba Valley Winery and Ale House, Corunna.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson met students and staff at Cobargo Public School, before hearing from Cobargo Community Development Corporation and Cobargo Community Bushfire Recovery Fund representatives about bushfire recovery efforts, at the Cobargo RSL Memorial Hall.

In the evening, the Vice Regal Couple attended a BBQ with members of the Cobargo Rural Fire Service Unit, at the Cobargo Rural Fire Brigade Station.
