Throughout the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, continued her regional visit to the Riverina.

In the morning, the Governor toured Rivalea Australia, a pig farming and pork processing agribusiness, in Corowa. Afterwards, Her Excellency visited the historic pastoral property, Savernake Station, in Savernake.

In the afternoon, the Governor was escorted along the Tocumwal Women’s Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF) Creek Walk, before attending a luncheon with Berrigan Shire Councillors and volunteers from the Tocumwal Foreshore Committee. Subsequently, the Governor visited the Tocumwal Aviation Museum.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency, as Patron, attended an afternoon tea with members of the Country Women’s Association NSW, at the Country Club Hotel, Finley. For further information, visit: cwaofnsw.org.au

In the morning, Colonel Michael Miller LVO RFD, the Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, farewelled His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh KG GCVO, on his departure from Sydney.
