In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Remembrance Day service at The Cenotaph, where Her Excellency placed the first wreath on behalf of the community of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, opened Anderledy Lodge, a new accommodation and conference facility for the Sisters of Saint Joseph at Mary MacKillop Place, North Sydney.
