In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales received His Excellency Mr Mario Farrugia Borg, High Commissioner for Malta and Mr Lawrence Buhagiar, Consul-General of Malta.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Ceremonial Sitting of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia to welcome The Honourable Justice Peter Campton and The Honourable Justice Suzanne Christie as Judges of Division 1 at the Lionel Bowen Commonwealth Law Courts Building, Sydney.
