In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, received a call from Mr Christopher Minns MP, Member for Kogarah, advising that, following the general election, he expected to command a majority in the Legislative Assembly of the Parliament of New South Wales, and consequently sought permission to form a Government. Her Excellency then invited Mr. Minns to form a Government.
