In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, conducted an investiture for The Right Honourable the Lord Glendonbrook Sir Michael Bishop CBE AM, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a performance of Hairspray – The Musical, at Sydney Lyric Theatre, Pyrmont.
