In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron and Honorary Air Commodore - No. 22 (City of Sydney) Squadron Association, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, reviewed the Parade and presented the new Colour to No. 22 Squadron during a Consecration and Laying Up of the Old Colour Ceremony at St Andrew’s Cathedral. Afterwards, the Governor delivered the keynote address at the Advancing Women in Law Summit at the Park Hyatt, Sydney.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, hosted a reception for the NSW Legislative Council to receive the new President of the Legislative Council, the Council’s Address-in-Reply, and Condolence Motion on the Death of His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson, as Guests of Honour, attended the Opening of Matisse: Life & Spirit Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou, Paris at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
