In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson visited Our Big Kitchen, in Bondi. Our Big Kitchen is a community run, non-denominational, industrial kitchen where meals are prepared for distribution to needy people across Sydney.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited flood affected areas in and around Wisemans Ferry. The Vice-Regal couple met SES volunteers at the Wisemans Ferry Command Post, viewed flood affected areas by boat, and afterwards met with RFS volunteers and impacted local residents, at the Wisemans Ferry Rural Fire Service Station.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Women Lawyers’ Association of NSW 70^th Anniversary Gala Dinner, at the Sheraton Grand, Sydney.
