In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor received Ms Rebeca Guinea Stal, Incoming Consul-General of Spain, for a welcome call at Government House.

After this, Her Excellency received Mr James Glissan AM ESM KC, Chair, Mr Stacey Tannos, Retiring Commissioner, and Mr Alex Barrell, Incoming Commissioner, of Marine Rescue New South Wales, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the 2023 Sydney Film Festival Opening Night Gala at the State Theatre, Sydney.
