In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor received Her Excellency Mrs Ardi Stoios-Braken, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency received Mr Leon Taylor, Acting Commissioner, Corrective Services NSW, and was presented with a book compiling entries in the 2023 Corrective Services NSW Staff and Inmate Art Competition, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor, as Patron, hosted the 9^th iteration of Ideas@theHouse, held in collaboration with the Royal Society of NSW, and featuring a presentation by Mr John Bell AO OBE entitled ‘Shakespeare on Politics – What Can we Learn’, at Government House.
