In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor received Mr Michael Tidball, Board Chair, Mr Anthony Pitts, Artistic Director, and Mr Francis Greep, General Manager and Associate Artistic Director, of the Song Company, in a virtual meeting facilitated by Government House Sydney.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a farewell dinner for Rear Admiral Jonathan Mead AM, Fleet Commander, Royal Australian Navy, at Government House. On this occasion Her Excellency invested Admiral Mead as an Officer of the Order of Australia in the Military Division, for distinguished service to the Royal Australian Navy in senior management and command roles.
