In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Battle for Australia Commemoration Service, at the Cenotaph, Martin Place.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, conducted an investiture ceremony at Government House for men and women of New South Wales whose awards were announced in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a performance by the Australian String Quartet of pieces by Ives, Westlake and Debussy, at the City Recital Hall.
