In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson delivered the Occasional Address at the Saint Ignatius College Riverview Speech Day, at Lane Cove.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency received Mr Chris Bird, Chief Executive Officer of the Twofold Aboriginal Corporation.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor received Sue Morphet, President of Chief Executive Women Australia.

In the evening, Her Excellency attended the opening night of the Pinchgut Opera performance of Vivaldi’s Farnace, at the City Recital Hall, Sydney.
