In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, the Governor attended Lunch with the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of the University of Sydney, at the University of Sydney, Camperdown.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency received Mr Andrew Johnson, NSW Advocate for Children and Young People, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Award Dinner, at the Sydney Town Hall.
