In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor received Mr Sangwoo Hong, Consul-General of the Republic of Korea, at Government House.

Later, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, hosted a luncheon for the former Private and Official Secretaries to mark Proclamation Day, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor, as Patron of The Royal Society of New South Wales, and Mr Wilson attended a Royal Society Open Lecture: ‘Where next for higher education after COVID-19?’ by Professor Mark Scott AO FRSN, Vice Chancellor and Principal, The University of Sydney.
