In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later in the morning, and throughout the day, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, conducted three investiture ceremonies at Government House for men and women of New South Wales whose awards were announced in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Farewell Dinner for Professor Greg Craven AO, Vice-Chancellor and President of the Australian Catholic University. The event, at the University’s North Sydney campus, included the unveiling of a portrait of former Chancellor, the late The Honourable John Fahey AC.
