In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson, as Guests of Honour, participated in the Fromelles Day Commemorative Procession, from the Archibald Fountain to the ANZAC Memorial, Hyde Park.

Afterwards, Her Excellency, as Patron of Sydney Legacy, accompanied by Mr Wilson, officially launched the Sydney leg of the Legacy Centenary Torch Relay, at the ANZAC Memorial. For further information, visit: legacy.com.au

Subsequently, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered the Prologue at the Commemoration Service for the Battle of Fromelles, at the ANZAC Memorial.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson, hosted an Afternoon Tea for Centenarians, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a performance of 'Aida', by Opera Australia, at the Sydney Opera House.
