In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, received His Excellency Mr Margers Krams, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, accompanied by Mrs Sandra Krama, spouse of the Ambassador, and Mr Martin Tuktens, Honorary Consul.

Afterwards, Her Excellency received Emeritus Professor David Flint AM, President, and Mr Daniel Lahood, Executive Committee Member, of the English Speaking Union (NSW Branch).

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Mr Justin Betar, Honorary Consul for the Republic of Ghana, accompanied by Mrs Kirsty Betar, spouse of the Honorary Consul, for a farewell call at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a dinner hosted by Dr Nguyen Dang Thang, Consul-General of Vietnam, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney.
