In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor attended a State Memorial Service for the late Mr Eddie Jaku OAM, at Sydney Town Hall.

Later, Her Excellency received a Courtesy Call by Mrs Anne Genetet, Member of the Parliament (National Assembly) representing the 11th Constituency of French people living abroad (Eastern Europe, Asia, Pacific).

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted a reception to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Victims and Witnesses of Crime Court Support Group.

Subsequently, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Ceremonial Sitting of the Court to farewell The Honourable Justice Ann Ainslie-Wallace, at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, launched the Australasian Society for Computers and Law at the Australian Computer Society's 40th Anniversary Celebration.
