In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency, in conjunction with the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, conducted interviews for the shortlisted candidates of the 2022 Rhodes Scholarship, prior to the announcement of the 2022 Rhodes Scholar in the afternoon.
