In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the University of Newcastle Centre for Law and Social Justice Launch, Newcastle.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Fort Scratchley for the 140^th Anniversary of the Fort’s Completion and 80^th Anniversary of the Japanese Attack on Newcastle, at Fort Scratchley, Newcastle East.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the 40^th Anniversary Celebration of the Federation of Parents and Friends Associations Dinner – Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, at Noah’s on the Beach, Newcastle East.
