In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with members of the Forbes Art Society at The Platypus Gallery, Forbes.

Later in the morning the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Parkes High School.

In the afternoon, the Vice-Regal couple toured the CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope.

 Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson met with the operators of AgriWest, at their facility in Parkes.
