In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended the funeral and wake for the late Captain the Honourable Murray Tobias AM RFD KC RAN, at the Paddington Uniting Church, Paddington, and the Australian Golf Club, Rosebery.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Consular Corps in Sydney (Heads of Post) Annual Dinner, at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Kirribilli.
