In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, viewed the Turbans 4 Australia Our South-West Sikhs Exhibition, at the Liverpool Regional Museum.

Later in the morning, the Governor, hosted by the Chair and CEO of Women’s Community Shelters, attended a pre-opening tour of a new facility in Guilford which provides short term accommodation and support for homeless women.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency visited Seven Hills High School and toured their recently opened Vocational Innovation Centre. Afterwards, they met with members of the Women’s Business 2nd Chance Hub and specialist employment services providers, Real Futures, in Rooty Hill.

In the evening, the Governor attended a Dinner to mark the Opening of Law Term and to celebrate the Supreme Court’s Bicentenary, at the State Library of New South Wales.
