In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson commenced a regional visit to the Northern Rivers, beginning with a visit to Ballina Coast High School and Hope Haven Women’s Refuge.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson undertook a farm tour at the Wollongbar Primary Industries Institute, and visited Heartfelt House, at Wollongbar. The Governor is Patron of Heartfelt House, an organisation providing  therapeutic group programs for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. For more information visit: www.hearfelthouse.org.au
