In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, as Guests of Honour, attended the ANZAC Service at the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway, at Rhodes Park, Concord, where Her Excellency delivered the keynote address and placed the first wreath.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the ANZAC Eve Mass of Remembrance, at St Mary’s Cathedral.

Also in the morning, Her Excellency was represented by Lieutenant Commander Robert Valler, Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, as Patron, at the NSW Association of Jewish Service and Ex-Service Men and Women’s Communal Wreath Laying and Anzac Day Service, at the National Council of Jewish Women Australia (NSW), Darlinghurst.
