In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, officially opened the Hurstville Museum and Gallery’s Open Day, featuring the Home in St George 1920-1960 exhibition.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson, as guests of Mrs Silvina Aguirre, Consul-General of the Argentine Republic, attended Argentina! A Celebration, a concert in honour of the 207th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Independence of the Argentine Republic, at the Sydney Opera House.
