In the morning, in London, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended a pre-Coronation breakfast hosted by The Right Honourable James Cleverly MP, Foreign Secretary, at Church House.

Later in the morning, Her Excellency attended the Coronation Service of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, at Westminster Abbey.

Afterwards, the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by The Right Honourable James Cleverly MP, Foreign Secretary, at Church House.

In the morning, in Sydney, His Excellency the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, and Ms Joanna Bird, hosted a Coronation Tree Planting and Garden Reception, at Government House. A melaleuca grown from a cutting of the tree planted by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Government House in 1954 was ceremonially planted in honour of King Charles III, by Ms Lottie Dalziel, 2023 NSW Young Australian of the Year.
