In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, as Guests of Honour, attended Grafton’s Jacaranda Festival, leading the Parade of Youth and Banner Competition to Grafton’s Market Square, where the Governor presented awards.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Clarence Correctional Centre, where they viewed programs and cultural performances by inmates.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson visited award-winning micro-business HoneyBee Hives, before taking to the lawn, alongside members of Coutts Crossing Croquet Club, as Patrons of Croquet NSW. For further information, visit: croquet-nsw.org

Later, the Governor and Mr Wilson thanked volunteers of Coutts Crossing Rural Fire Service, who had been battling the Nymboida bushfire.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the Jacaranda Festival’s Royal Party Crowning, at Grafton’s Market Square, where the Governor officiated at the presentations.
