In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron of the Naval Association of Australia (NSW Section), accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson laid the first wreath at the 80^th Anniversary annual Memorial Service for the Sinking of HMAS Parramatta II, at Queen’s Wharf Reserve, Parramatta. In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, unveiled a foundation stone plaque to mark the 160^th Anniversary of the City of Parramatta Council, in Parramatta Square, Parramatta.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted a dinner for the Honourable Patricia Bergin AO SC, at Government House.
