In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, visited the Uralla Community Co-operative, in Uralla.

Later in the morning, the Governor toured the Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place, in Armidale.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency toured the New England Regional Art Museum, in Armidale, and afterwards, visited Freeman House, which provides residential and inpatient alcohol and other drug treatment to adults experiencing substance related harm and dependency.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor officially opened the Can Assist Uralla Poss Family Fun Day, at the Uralla Golf Club.
