In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the official inauguration of the display of a piece of the Berlin Wall to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, at Euroka Reserve, Woollahra. The event was hosted and organised by the Goethe-Institut and Woollahra Council.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Anita Cobby Memorial Dinner for Grace’s Place, at Blacktown Workers Club, Blacktown.
