In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, returned to the State and reassumed administration of the Government of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered an address at the Graduate Women NSW Centenary Celebration Lunch, at the Union, Universities and Schools Club, Sydney.

Also in the afternoon, representing Her Excellency the Governor, Lieutenant Commander Robert MJ Valler, RAN, Aide-de-Camp in Waiting to the Governor of New South Wales, laid the first wreath at a Commemorative Service for the 80^th Anniversary of the Battle of Crete and the Greek Campaign, The Cenotaph, Martin Place, Sydney.
