In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, returned to Sydney and reassumed the administration of the Government of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson laid the first wreath at the 82^nd Anniversary Remembrance Service for the ANZAC Battle of Crete and The Greek Campaign, at the Cenotaph, Martin Place.
