In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Australian Turf Club Star Championships Day 1, at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Randwick.

Later, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Uniting War Memorial Hospital 100 Years Celebration, on the Uniting War Memorial Hospital Lawn, Waverley.
