In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, unveiled the Sydney Lion Statue for the international conservation group, Tusk Trust, alongside The Honourable Tony Abbott AC, Councillor Christine Forster, City of Sydney, and Artist Mr David Griggs, at Sydney Town Hall. The Tusk Trust is a patronage of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Cambridge.

In the evening, the Governor, as Honorary Member, accompanied by Mr Wilson, delivered an address at a Dinner at The Queen’s Club.
