In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, received Professor Tania Sourdin, Dean of the University of Newcastle Law School, and Marina Yastreboff, President of the Australian Society for Computers and Law, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Opera Australia performance of La Juive, at the Sydney Opera House.
