In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, visited Foster House, a crisis accommodation service run by the Salvation Army, in Surry Hills.

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, launched The International Law of the Sea (Third Edition), by Donald R Rothwell and Tim Stephens, at the University of Sydney Law School, Camperdown.
