In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council at Government House.

Afterwards, Her Excellency presided at the swearing in of the Honourable Alister Andrew Henskens SC MP, Minister for Skills and Training, and Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology as Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade and Minister for Sport, and the Honourable Benjamin Franklin MLC, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for the Arts, and Minister for Regional Youth as Minister for Tourism.
