In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales and Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with the Deputy Mayor, General Manager and Councillors of the Walgett Shire Council, at the Council Chambers. Afterwards, they visited Walgett Community College.
