In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Later in the morning, the Governor laid the first wreath at a Ceremony for Royal Australian Air Force 100^th Anniversary, at the ANZAC Memorial, Hyde Park, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a dinner marking the Golden Jubilee of the Independence and National Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, at the Four Seasons Hotel.

In the afternoon, representing Her Excellency the Governor, Michael Miller RFD, Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, laid the first wreath at the RAAF Memorial Book Rededication Service, at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
