In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the NSW Police Force Attestation Parade of Class 358, at the NSW Police Academy, Goulburn.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a dinner celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the District Court, at Kimpton Margot Hotel, Sydney.
