In the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, presided at the Swearing-In Ceremony for Mr Simon Johnston, Serjeant-at-Arms of the Legislative Assembly, in the presence of The Honourable Jonathan O'Dea MP, Speaker, and Ms Helen Minnican, Clerk of the Legislative Assembly.

Later, in the context of a virtual regional visit to the Hawkesbury, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson received Ms Karen Borg, Owner, Willowbrae Chevre Cheese, Wilberforce.

Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson received Ms Lizz Reay, Chief Executive Officer, Wentworth Healthcare and Ms Michelle Hookham, Project Lead, Be & Co. Be & Co aims to foster community connections and improve access to support for isolated people in the Hawkesbury.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Ms Maria Losurdo, Manager, Ms Mel Olsen, Aboriginal Worker in Anti-Violence Community Development and Ms Kim Ward and Ms Melissa Broadie, Women’s Crisis Support Workers, Hawkesbury Women’s Cottage.

Later, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson received Ms Melissa Stubbings, Coordinator, Merana Aboriginal Community Association for the Hawkesbury.

Subsequently, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Captain Sean Lonergan, Bilpin Rural Fire Service Brigade.
